The Working Load Limit (WLL) is the
maximum load which should ever be applied to the product even when the product
is new and the load is evenly applied.
All rigging components (shackles,
links, hooks, etc.) must be properly installed and have a WLL that is at least
equal to the product with which they are used.
A horizontal side force applied to the
lifted load or product can damage the product and cause a reduced Working Load
Any rapid change of movement such as jerking,
swinging, or impacting the load or sudden release of tension could overload the
sling and cause it to fall.
