To ensure continued safety on your job site, D & A Wire Rope can test and certify your equipment.

The safety of a sling depends primarily upon the remaining strength an no product can keep operating at its rated capacity indefinitely.  Slings can sustain damage from continued use, misuse, and environmental factors.  Proof-testing and certification of existing materials verifies that equipment is still performing at its required capacity.

Pull-Testing and Certificaiton Procedures

Inspection
Before and item can be certified it must first be visually inspected.  D & A Wire Rope inspects each item for any signs of damage or deformation.

Certification
using our calibrated pull-tester, D & A Wire Rope certifies that each item is rated to the required Work Load Limit (WLL).  Test are performed to twice the WLL.

Test Certificate
A test certificate is supplied for each item.  The certificate provides definitive information showing the time tested against the load tested.

Tag
All certified equipment is tagged to show it meets guidelines for the specified WLL.  Equipemnt missing tags cannot be retagged without first being certified.
